| Just back from the comedy store. Oh my goodness, where has it been all my life?! It was so good. I cannot encourage you enough to go. Many many rude jokes, about Popes, giving blood, Primark and strange sculptures in Liverpool... Talking about funny people, caught Elbow when they played Newcastle. Their lead singer was amazingly great with the crowd, could have done his very own stand up! And of course they were rockin as always. Check out their new album if you can get hold of it, its been doing the loop on my ipod.
Two days later I was back in Newcastle to another gig, the Prodigy this time - I don't think I have ever danced my pants off so hard in my entire life, just like a massive rave! It was fab. Not to mention extremely extremely sweaty...
Had a rubbish weekend for sport though, lost both matches to Hatfield, our most hated opponents. I wouldn't have been surprised if they turned up to play in their pashminas. Rah scum. Anyway, they had about six uni players and although we played our hearts out, just couldn't pull it together. Best hockey I've seen from the team yet, bought them all chocolate to congratulate them. Awww. They're like my babies. Ok, not quite.
End of term drawing ever nearer... Rock n roll | | |
| Bonjour!
Hope everyone is keeping well, my london trip seems so long ago now but
it was rockin! Did lots of shopping, saw Serenity at one of the big
fancy cinemas and also visited the science and natural history museum!
Phew. All that in 2 days was pretty hardcore I thought. Can't believe
its only 4 weeks til the end of term, mental. And 6 weeks til
Christmas! Got our Christmas holiday booked, off to Teen in France for
a week of skiing with the old 'rents. I'm going to frolic in the joy of
the whitey goodness and smite innocent passersby with snowballs, mainly
my mother. Ah she loves it really.
Not really much to report, we're on a winning streak with hockey, but
alass, my job of top scorer this year has been passed to a fellow team
mate. I'm not bitter at all... At. All. Ok ok, I know I'm being stupid!
Ash and I have decided we need to follow Michael's example and go on a
'get buff quick' regime. We're going to buy one of those chin-up bars
and become like our idol Starla from Napoleon Dynamite.. Oh yes...
Heaps of love and happy returns to Jenna if she reads this - card is in the post! Honest!

| It's ok, I'm back to my lovely beautiful non-sad self again. I really feel
sorry for anyone who is depressed all the time, that would majorly
suck. Pha. Unfortunately I was still in my moaping about stage when
"holloween" came around but I did assist Ash in back-combing her hair
for the witchy effect. Nicely done I say. We carved out a pumpkin too
but it went horribly horribly mouldy. Oh my goodness I think I may
hurl. It was that bad.
My friend Tom suggested that I go on a big long walk. And you know, I
think I might just do that. Although I wouldn't hesitate to have a
midnight stroll at home I think its probably best if I wait til
morning. I fear the english. I think (excuse the corniness of this
line) I just needed a bit of time by myself. So when Ash and Clara
buggered off leaving the house empty on Halloween I had a great time!
Haha. Perhaps I should just kill them.. yesss... killllll them... ahem.
Moving swiftly on as I think the guy next to me has just farted and it
really smells... Nice. Watched Back to the future last night, the first
one. Its so good!!! Gotta love the cheese in it though. Michael says
Marty is a bit of a dude, which is very true. He got a Napoleon
Dynamite T-shirt from e-bay. That boy. So jealous.
Righty, got to go do something productive. Who knows what.
Mz xx

| Hey-lo my pretties
Caught a Turin Brakes gig on Thursday past, was actually freakin cool,
they had loads of fairy lights hanging from the ceiling and the venue
was quite small so even a short arse like me could see. Got Elbow
tickets too for November, finally making the most of Newcastle these
days.
Had Debbie down at the weekend, it was really good to catch up. Just
been a little down recently, don't know what it is. Feeling bit crappy.
Ugh. Never worry, its prob some girly thing... Cake will solve all my
problems!
Off to see the sights of London with mama this weekend, looking forward
to it. Sweet sweet shopping... Might even squeeze in a show or museum,
but to be honest, shopping does take priority..!
Have a good one guys, all my love.

| New sofa!!! After what seems like a lifetime we have finally beaten our
estate agents into submission and a spanking new £800 leather sofa
should be delivered promptly at 1pm on Tuesday. Phew. That only took 4
months... And apparently our estate agents are nearly half as bad as
some of the others...
death to them all.
Got 2 matches tomorrow, and with the amount of exercise I've been doing
over the summer (that would be none) it's going to be, er, interesting.
Feel the burn!!!
Ventured to Newcastle on Thursday, departing Durham at a reasonably
early hour for us, 11.30... The place was amazing, it had one humongous
mirror from the ceiling to the floor and a wee fountain in the girls
toilets. They played alright music, a bit too trendy for my liking but
we had a good boogie and I got a bit over excited when chinking glasses
and ended up smashing Ash's... I'm putting it down to poor
craftsmanship.
